Highlights from Epilog

A few more promises and insights that I hope will further your desire to restore your relationships.

First, most of what I wrote, the relationships that had the potential of taking over my life—emotionally, mentally, and even spiritually (with prayer, fasting, etc. that I would have felt was my only saving grace) all were remedied—all of them!

Keep this in mind TODAY. Whatever you are going through will soon pass!! Remember, God encouraged us in Psalm 23 by telling us we would (not might) pass through the valley of the shadow of death. There is nowhere that says we must remain in in the valley, pitching our tents there.

This means that there is no reward if you choose to keep your emotions or your mind on the horrible situation of that relationship that is plaguing you now. As a matter of fact, as a believer, it is our duty; yes duty, to get through our present valley in order to help those who we live with and even the person or persons who might have sent you to the valley. Does that make sense?

It takes someone brave and unwilling to be kept down to lead those they love out of darkness and into the light. If you feel that it is your duty to lament, you are wrong. Oh, certainly there is a time for many of you who are called to intercede in prayer with wailing, but when you walk out of that place of prayer, your troubles should be left on the cross, your burdens left there, while you come out singing His praises knowing He has heard you and that no matter what—HE can turn things around for good.

“And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:28).

“Speak kindly to Jerusalem; and call out to her, that her warfare has ended, that her iniquity has been removed, that she has received of the LORD'S hand double for all her sins” (Isaiah 40:2)… this goes for your sins or the sins of other person you are seeking to reunite with.

Just keep this as your motto “Above all, keep fervent in your love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins” (1 Peter 4:8).

“Dear Lord, please guide this special woman through the crisis in her relationship. And her ears shall hear a word behind her saying, this is the way, walk here, when she turns to her right and when she turns to her left (see Isa. 30:21).

“Please reassure her when she sees a thousand fall on her right side and ten thousand at her left—help her to know that as she follows You, it will not happen to her (see Ps. 91:7). Hide her under your protective wings.

“Help her to find the narrow path that will lead her to life, the abundant life, you have for her and for her family. Lord, I pray for a testimony that you can use for Your glory when this restoration is complete! We give You all the honor and the glory through it all. Amen.”
